welcome, wild one

Keli, a woman with short dark hair, is laying with her head on a cushion and her eyes closed, in the bottom right corner. Behind her is a blue blanket and on top is a candle, a piece of paper, hand bells and a skin drum.

Hi, I’m Keli.

I am an animist, a queer, neurodivergent human and a lifelong creative.

I believe all things are alive and have a ‘spirit’, which entitles them to care, compassion and respect, whether they are a person, animal, bird, tree, stone… I follow the seasonal earth-based Wheel of the Year and engage in simple rituals and lived practice to reflect this and the Web of All Things, that connects us all.

I am an author. I write and publish fiction, non-fiction and poetry inspired by hills, moors and trees, the wildness of my back garden, being a mum, a climate-conscious human, folk traditions and pagan spirituality.

I am The Wild Celebrant. I create and hold wedding and commitment ceremonies for wildhearted souls, including handfastings.

On this site you can…

dive into my celebrant work, including how it works, what a Wild Wedding looks like and how we can work together.

… dig into the archive of my older writings on ceremony, ritual and the seasons (and keep alive the hope for newer content coming soon!)

… explore (and if you wish, purchase) my magically illustrated, seasonally inspired book of new folk tales: ‘Walk The Wheel ~ tales of the turning seasons’
